Cucumber and lime water is perfect to detox your body with a great healthy drink! With all the great benefits for your digestive system, your digestive track and anti-inflammatory properties to treat your body well!

Drinking enough water throughout the day can be challenging. We all know it is good for us but somehow drinking coffee or wine is not as challenging, am I right?

I have become pretty good at getting the intake of water recommended but some days I fail at it and my body kindly reminds me.

What Are The Benefits Of Cucumber Lime Water?

Detoxing your body has never tasted so good! I indulge a lot with anything chocolate like these Almond Flour Brownies or have a glass of wine (or 2), therefore self-care inside out is essential.

BONUS!  Not only it is quenching your thirst, it tastes good and it is good for you!

MINT is good for your digestive system, it relaxes it.

LIME stimulates and helps to regulate your digestive track.

CUCUMBER has antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties.

Zoom on one bottle with red straw with lime, mint and cucumber floating.

This was really interesting reading on those 3 ingredients and all the good it brings to you!  I am really interested into looking more into the power food to boost our family immune system before the cold arrives.

How Do You Prepare it & How Long Can You Keep Your Flavoured Water?

Putting together this water recipe is quite quick. Take a pitcher, squeeze some lime juice, slice some cucumber, add some water and keep in the fridge. No added sugar needed.

There you have it a refreshing spa water, grab a book or a magazine to read, watch a cheesy movie and take a sip!

I would say make it daily. It’s better to prepare it as you need it. That being said, he won’t be bad if you drink it the next day.

Every time I have cucumber water at the spa (not that it happens very often), I always think to myself “I should make this at home!” and then I never do. Now I have very few excuses left since you’ve given us a recipe ;)

This is the year of the cucumber for me, too. I have soooo many ripening on the vines.

Every time I get cucumbers in the CSA (which is often right now), I drink the crap outta cucumber water Mélanie! It feels so indulgent (hello, day spa retreat) yet it’s so economical. Especially with how many are showing up at the farmer’s market right now. Plus I love lime so throw some fresh herbs, citrus and cucumbers in a pitcher and call me one happy lady! Or at least, one happy person drinking delicious water, hydrating like a mo fo and loving every minute of it (I’m really not that much of a lady ;) )

So glad to be a part of FBC with you!! xo!
